Stamford
We spend the morning in Stamford. Built in Georgian times, the pretty facades of the town are favourites with film and television producers – Stamford was used as a film location in the 2005 Pride & Prejudice film and has also appeared in The Da Vinci Code. Stamford’s narrow alleyways and courtyards are home to speciality shops, fine jewellers and designer boutiques.

Today we head into Cambridge, where you’re at leisure to explore this world-renowned university city. Why not enjoy a peaceful punt along the River Cam, and admire the stunning architecture of King’s College Chapel.
