Today we discover the natural beauty of the Mountains of Mourne, where sweeping peaks roll down to the sea, offering some of Northern Ireland’s most dramatic and inspiring landscapes. After soaking in the views, continue to Hillsborough Castle, the official royal residence in Northern Ireland. Enjoy a guided tour of its elegant state rooms and stroll through the beautifully landscaped gardens steeped in history and charm.
Brownlow House
Begin the day at Brownlow House in Lurgan, a grand 19th-century mansion rich in history and once a WWII U.S. military headquarters, now featuring fascinating wartime exhibits. After a light lunch, continue to Armagh to visit St. Patrick’s Catholic Cathedral and Museum, where breathtaking Gothic Revival architecture, stunning stained-glass windows, and panoramic views offer a moving and memorable experience.
Dublin
Today we leave Armagh and return to our overnight stay via the popular Irish capital, Dublin. Take a wander along the River Liffey, stopping by Ha'penny Bridge and explore the lively streets of Temple Bar for a taste of local pubs and street art.
