After education, Claire took time out to travel the world.
She then chose to take the path into accounts, spending 20+ years working in the Logistics and Road Haulage sector. This included starting with everything from daily sales and purchasing plus payroll to preparing financial statements, financial planning and reporting.
After this, Claire then spent some time in public sector auditing.
Whilst the travel sector is a very different area, Claire can see the similarities with the haulage industry in supporting the day-to-day accounts and finance function that keep the wheels turning. (No pun intended!)
Travelling and family holidays are still high on Claire's list of priorities, with so much both abroad and in the UK to explore.
Claire has settled in well, only being with the team a couple of months and has been impressed with the level of attention the staff pay to making sure each customers holiday is enjoyable.
