Ayrshire & the Western Isles

From our base in Irvine, we get to explore the wonders of Ayrshire and the Western Isles on this tour. Discover the beautiful Isle of Bute, we also head over to the Isle of Arran plus we spend time in Alloway, home of Scotland's most famous poet - Rabbie Burns!

Isle of Bute

This morning we driver along the Firth of Clyde and head to Wemys Bay where we cross to Rothesay for some free time. We later enjoy a scenic tour of the island before completing our day at Mount Stuart, one of the most flamboyant great houses in the United Kingdom.

Coastal Drive

After a leisurely breakfast we head for a coastal drive of the area. Ayr will be our first stop before we head to the pretty village of Alloway home of Scotland’s most famous poet – Rabbie Burns. We complete the day with a photo stop of Ailsa Craig Island before heading back to the hotel.

Isle of Arran

This morning we catch our ferry to the Isle of Arran. Our first stop is Baronial Brodick Castle & Gardens, dating back to the 13th century, this impressive castle is packed full of treasures and overlooks the Firth of Clyde. We later have some free time in Brodick before returning to the mainland.
