Day 1

We continue our journey to Bavaria

Day 3

Discover the charm of times past with a visit to the Museum village Bayerischer Wald near Tittling, one of Germany’s largest open-air museums. Wander among over 150 historic farmhouses, mills, and workshops, and watch traditional crafts and demonstrations that bring rural Bavarian life to life.

Day 4

Enjoy a scenic drive to the shimmering Lipno Lake, surrounded by rolling hills and forests. Here, a gentle boat cruise lets you take in the peaceful landscape and the fresh mountain air. Afterwards, travel to Ceský Krumlov, a UNESCO World Heritage gem. Stroll through its medieval streets, admire the majestic castle, and enjoy views over the Vltava River.

Day 5

Enjoy a delightful day exploring the beauty of Passau and its Austrian neighbour Schärding. Begin with a guided city tour of Passau, the “City of Three Rivers,” where the Danube, Inn, and Ilz meet. Admire the magnificent St. Stephen’s Cathedral, the Old Town, and the Residenzplatz before enjoying some free time to stroll or relax at a café by the river. Continue across the border to Schärding, a charming baroque town with its colorful Silberzeile houses and cozy squares.

Day 6

Begin with a visit to the Tree Top Walk in the Bavarian Forest National Park, where gentle wooden paths lead high above the forest canopy to a stunning viewing tower offering panoramic vistas over the treetops and distant Alps. Afterwards, continue to Weinfurtner – The Glass Village, a unique place where traditional glassmaking, culinary delights, and shopping come together. 

Day 7

Experience the vibrant charm of Munich, Bavaria’s lively capital. Enjoy a guided city tour showcasing the city’s most famous sights, including Marienplatz, the Town Hall, and the elegant Residenz area.

Day 8

Sadly we depart our resort and travel to our overnight accommodation.

Day 9

Continue to Calais and complete the journey home.
