Day 1

After local pick pick-ups, we enjoy a leisurely driver down to Cornwall for an overnight stay.

Day 2

After an early breakfast, we travel to Penzance for the morning sailing to St Mary's. The Bell Rock Hotel is just a five minute walk from St Mary's Harbour. A luggage transfer will be provided by a local operator.

Day 3

St Mary's is the largest of the Isles of Scillies islands with 1,800 inhabitants. Spend the day exploring Hugh Town, the island's 'capital'. It is situated between two beaches and is home to a variety of shops, art and craft galleries and restaurants. This afternoon, enjoy a stroll along the Garrison Walls high above the town or simply relax at the hotel pool, on Porthcressa or Town Beach.

Day 4

Today, hop across the tiny archipelago to further explore this glorious destination. Included is a boat trip to the island of Tresco and admission to the gem that is Tresco Abbey Gardens. With a population of just 152 people in the 2021 census, Tresco's main inhabitants are the migratory birds who make The Great Pool their home in summer. The glorious 19th century garden, home to 20,000 plants from more than 80 countries is built around the ruins of a Benedictine Abbey.

Day 5

Another day at leisure enjoying the nature trails and coastal paths of St Mary's or further enjoying the hotels pool and St Mary's beaches.

Day 6

Sadly it is time to leave the tranquillity of the island and return to the mainland on the afternoon ferry back to Penzance. We continue to our overnight hotel in Cornwall.

Day 7

After a leisurely breakfast we return to South Wales.
