Lake Annecy

The Savoie Alpine region has magnificent mountain peaks and home to some of the world's best-known ski resorts. Annecy is often referred to as the Venice of the Alps and the crystal-clear waters of lake Annecy are its crown jewel where you can admire the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.

Day 1

Following our short sea crossing we continue to our overnights bed and breakfast accommodation.

Day 2

We continue our journey to Talloires stopping at Geneva en-route

Day 3

Today we visit Annecy with its many canals, flower-bedecked bridges and promenade. Today is traditionally market day with the canal side streets lined with busy stalls. We also include a cruise on Lake Annecy.

Day 4

At leisure in resort

Day 5

Today we enjoy a spectacular alpine journey to the popular resort of Megeve before continuing to Chamonix. A vibrant town, popular for ski and outdoor pursuits, with incredible views of Mont Blanc and surrounding snow-covered peaks.

Day 6

Travelling through the Haute-Savoie region to Evian-les-Bains well known for its mineral water and spa's before continuing to Yvoire, a medieval village which has hardly changed for centuries maintaining beautifully decorated houses and gardens coupled with busy shops and cafes.

Day 7

Today we visit the pretty alpine town of Chambery and make a stop at Lake Bourget, France's largest natural lake.

Day 8

Sadly we depart our hotel continue to our overnight bed and breakfast accommodation.

Day 9

Continue to Calais and complete the journey home.
