Lancaster
Known as one of England's Heritage Cities, Lancaster has remained a vibrant and quirky destination for holiday makers. Home to an impressive castle, several museums plus a canal, this city with a colourful past offers visitors the perfect mix of history and modern culture.
Lake District
From our base we head out for a scenic drive up to the Lake District. First we call into Kendal, famous for its mint cake, this Cumbrian town is a gateway to the Lake District. We continue onto Bowness-on-Windemere for some free time to explore the lakeside town.
Skipton Grassington
The market town of Skipton is well worth a visit when travelling to Yorkshire. The Leeds, Liverpool canal runs through the town plus the iconic 900 year old Skipton Castle is a popular attraction for visitors. A short drive from Skipton we visit Grassington, with a cobbled market square that's home to a number of small independent shops and boutiques, this pretty town sits within the heart of the Yorkshire Dales and has become a popular TV & film location for many period dramas.
