Valley Railway

Embark on a nostalgic journey aboard the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway, a preserved five-mile heritage line in West Yorkshire. Travel through picturesque Brontë Country, passing historic stations, famed for its role in The Railway Children, and Haworth, home to the Brontë sisters.

Shibden Hall & Halif

Today we visit Shibden Hall, a historic estate dating back to 1420. Once the home of Anne Lister, a 19th-century diarist whose life inspired the BBC series Gentleman Jack. Visitors can explore period-furnished rooms, a collection of horse-drawn carriages, and restored workshops. We later continue to Halifax, why not make a visit to the Piece Hall, a Georgian-era cloth hall turned cultural venue highlighting the town's rich industrial heritage.

York

Home to the mighty York Minster and the historic Shambles, the walled city of York is filled with independent shops, local restaurants and many visitor sights not to be missed!
