Treasures of Ireland's West Coast

Day 1

We set off from Wales and journey across the Irish Sea to Rosslare. From here, we travel onward to our comfortable hotel in Waterford, where a warm welcome awaits.

Day 2

The morning is yours to explore the historic City of Waterford. Stroll along the quays and enjoy the charming streets. Later, we journey to Ennis, County Clare, making a stop to marvel at the Rock of Cashel, an ancient site steeped in history and myth. We arrive at our hotel in Ennis, where you can enjoy a free bar from 18:30 to 20:30 before dinner.

Day 3

Prepare for a day of natural wonders as we visit the UNESCO Cliffs of Moher, where towering cliffs meet the crashing Atlantic waves. We'll also explore the unique landscape of The Burren, a fascinating region of limestone pavements and rare flora. After a day of awe-inspiring sights, we return to our hotel for a relaxing evening.

Day 4

Our first stop is the iconic Kylemore Abbey, a breath taking neo-Gothic gem nestled beside a tranquil lake. This historic estate, surrounded by lush woodlands and walled Victorian gardens, offers a glimpse into Ireland's rich history and the lives of the Benedictine nuns who still reside here. Next, we venture into the heart of Connemara National Park, famed for its dramatic landscapes of mountains, boglands, and grasslands. Immerse yourself in the unspoiled beauty of this natural haven, passing through the villages of Letterfrack and Clifden. We continue to the lively city of Galway, known as the "City of Tribes." Stroll along the vibrant cobblestone streets, visit colourful shops, or relax with a coffee while soaking in the unique blend of old-world charm and modern energy.

Day 5

Day at leisure in Ennis

Day 6

We bid farewell to Ennis and travel through the heart of Ireland to Kilkenny, a city famed for its medieval charm. Take time to wander its cobbled streets, or soak in the lively atmosphere before continuing to Waterford for our final overnight stay.

Day 7

After breakfast, we depart Waterford and make our way back to Wales.
