Explore Bembridge Downs home to historic monuments, dramatic chalk cliffs and open downland with coastal views.

Scenic Drive

Our scenic drive takes in some highlights on the island. From our base in Shanklin we head to the seaside resort of Ventnor, why not enjoy the sub-tropical gardens here or take a stroll through the town to explore the Victorian buildings and tearooms? We then reach Alum Bay where we get to admire the views across the coast and see the famous Isle of Wight Needles. Finally we head to Yarmouth, this historic harbour towns boasts a 16th-century castle plus a range of quaint shops and tea rooms.

Newport & Cowes

This morning we head to Newport, the historic capital of the island. We later continue onto Cowes, well known for its Royal heritage, maritime history and world famous regatta.
