Today we head to Beamish Open Air Museum, a fascinating and immersive historical attraction that brings the past to life. Spanning over 300 acres, the museum recreates life in the early 19th and 20th centuries with detailed historical settings, including a Victorian town, a 1900s mining village, and a 1940s farm. Visitors can explore authentic period buildings, ride vintage trams and buses, and engage with costumed staff who provide insights into daily life from different eras.
