Somerset Railway
Today we enjoy a journey on the West Somerset Railway. From Bishops Lydeard we board a nostalgic train for a scenic 90-minute journey through rolling Quantock Hills, charming villages, before arriving in the historic seaside town of Minehead. Once there, you have free time to explore the sandy beach and promenade, wander the town centre.
Taunton
Our excursion today takes us to Taunton, known for its historic castle, vibrant town centre, and beautiful surrounding countryside. It offers a mix of modern shopping and cultural attractions. Later we head to Bridgwater, a historic market town with strong industrial roots and a lively arts scene.
