Llanberis Railway

This morning enjoy a ride on the Llanberis Lake Railway, a narrow-gauge heritage steam railway that takes you on a scenic 5-mile journey along the shores of this glacial lake in the heart of Snowdonia National Park. After your ride on the Llanberis Lake Railway, we head to Caernarfon, one of Wales' most historic towns.

Bala Lake

Our excursion this morning takes us to Porthmadog, a charming harbour town at the edge of Snowdonia National Park. We continue on through the Snowdonia National Park, where you'll ride the Bala Lake Railway. This heritage railway takes you along the shores of Bala Lake and offers beautiful countryside views.

Betws-y-Coed

Today we enjoy a scenic drive stopping first at Betws-y-Coed, often called the "Gateway to Snowdonia". This beautiful and popular village is famous for its traditional stone buildings and is popular with tourists visiting the area. We continue onto Blaenau Ffestiniog, a former slate mining town nestled in the mountains, historically known as the "Slate Capital of the World."
