Rochester
Today we head to Rochester Cathedral for a guided tour. Founded in 604 AD, this beautiful cathedral has stood as a place of worship for over 1,400 years and is renowned for its stunning Norman architecture and serene atmosphere. Later we enjoy some free time in the town steeped in history and charm.
Canterbury
Canterbury, a historic city in Kent, is renowned for its magnificent cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the heart of the Anglican Church. Steeped in medieval history, Canterbury offers visitors ancient streets, charming timber-framed buildings, and a vibrant cultural scene. The city's historic significance, combined with its modern amenities and beautiful riverside views, makes it a must-visit destination in England.
Chatham
Chatham Historic Dockyard may be 400 years old, but has become home to the Call the Midwife set. Upon our arrival we're welcomed by our very own Midwife who will join us as we view the iconic locations of the series. During our tour we'll get to view props and sets that you'll recognise from the show, we'll get to pop into Violet's Haberdashery or even take a seat in Dr. Turners waiting room! Our ticket also includes entry to the wider site including all galleries and other exhibitions. Why not test your sea legs on HMS Cavalier, a wartime destroyer! Also don't miss the Master Ropemakers at work in the Ropery gallery. Please note: due to the nature of the site, some surfaces are uneven and we'd advise you wear comfortable shoes during your visit.
