Day 1

Following our Channel crossing we travel to La Roche in the Ardennes

Day 2

Today we visit Dinant on the river Meuse, dominated by the mighty 11th century Citadel. We continue to Annevoie, the only water garden in Belgium where no machinery or pumps are used to make the displays of graceful fountains and waterfalls.

Day 3

Today we have an interesting guided tour of the wartime Ardennes with a local historian. We travel to Hotton, where we visit the Welsh Memorial before continuing to Bastogne and Houffalize before completing the day back in La Roche where you can visit the local wartime museum.

Day 4

We travel to Durbuy the smallest city in the world where the quaint narrow cobbled streets have a variety lovely shops selling local specialities and where the Topiary Park is a popular attraction

Day 5

We travel to Calais and complete the journey home
